The primary focus of WTS services is developing new
business opportunities within the Department of Defense, military services and intelligence community. Additionally,
the firm helps companies achieve funding for R&D programs from the various DOD and intelligence research organizations.
WTS also has experience with the Department of Commerce and National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA), as well as the departments of Transportation, Energy and Homeland Security (including Customs and Border
Protection and FEMA).
In both the military and civilian agencies,
the firm provides assistance in the federal contracting/procurement process, including pre-RFP positioning, interface with
small business advocates, grant preparation, and other activities related to the procurement of services and products.
A key component to the success of all of this work is a parallel effort to develop interest and support among Members
of Congress for a client’s business development and R&D funding initiatives.
Methodology. The firm
works in an advisory, consultative and lobbying capacity. It recommends courses of action, implements agreen-upon strategies
and works in close coordination with the designated client contacts.
WTS principals operate
as a member of the client’s management team and provide services that complement, but do not duplicate, any client initiatives.
Fees are based on the difficulty of the work and resource/time requirements.
